Culture, Criticism, and the Christian Mind

The English Department at Dordt College invites you to attend the Culture, Criticism, and the Christian Mind conference on November 2-4, 2017.

This conference will feature the work of culture-creators and critical things who engage the world from an imaginative, critical, and capaciously Christian perspective. The conference keynote speakers include Randy Boyagoda (writer, intellectual, and critic best known for his novels Governor of the Northern Province and Beggar's Feast), Wesly Hill (author, theologian, and professor at Trinity School of Ministry), James Calvin Schaap (author and retired English professor at Dordt College), Alissa Wilkinson (film critic and journalist at, John Wilson (former editor of Books and Culture), and Bradford Winters (producer of Berlin Station).

All are welcome--professors and instructors, independent scholars and interested citizens, graduate students and undergraduates. Culture-creators and critical thinkers in the humanities and arts are encouraged to participate.
