THE MEET
The Dordt Defender women were eighth in the final team standings of the Jimmie Spring Swing held in Ames, Iowa on Tuesday, March 29. Dordt finished two strokes out of seventh and eight out of sixth. The University of Sioux Falls won the nine-team event with a two day total of 336-356=692 while Dordt shot a 388-379=767.
Bailey Weg shot a 95-93=188 for 23rd place and Rachel Bostwick’s score of 93-96=189 was good for 27th. 53 golfers competed in the event and Paige Hillman was the individual medalist with a 75-84=159. Hillman was seven strokes in front of her University of Sioux Falls teammate.

Dordt is scheduled to compete at an event hosted by Concordia on Monday and Tuesday, April 5 and 6.
