Dordt hockey returned to the ice after a week away, playing on the road at Nebraska. The Huskers moved to 11-4 in a battle between teams with previously identical records.

The first period remained scoreless most of the way until Nebraska's Evan Detina scored with four minutes remaining in the period. Taking a 1-0 lead into the second, Detina scored again nearly two minutes into the period. The score remained constant until the third when Nebraska scored three in the third period. Brendan Hill made the score 3-0 before Cody Walters added two for the Huskers, extending their lead to 5-0.
