HOW IT HAPPENED
Dordt and Mount Marty matched up in a conference game on Wednesday, with a penalty kick being the difference in a win for the Lancers.
Neither team could gain an advantage in the first half, as Mount Marty was unable to capitalize on eight first-half shot attempts. The Defenders only had one opportunity in the opening 45 minutes as both teams tried to generate offense throughout the half. Dordt's Brandon Hansen had five saves on five shots on goal by the Lancers.
