Dordt sent a limited number of athletes to a meet hosted by the University of South Dakota in Vermillion on Friday, May 7.  The day was highlighted by Jacob Vander Plaats meeting the provisional national qualifying standard in the 1500 with a tie of 3:55.65.

Matthew Van Eps lowered his season best in the 800 meters to 1:49.59 and Payton Mauldin's time of 1:50.74 in the event is the third best in the NAIA this season. Nicolas Veldhorst met the automatic standard in the steeplechase by running 9:22 and Eric Steiger's time of 9:29 met the provisional standard.
