Dordt def. Calumet 6-3
The Defenders played Calumet Saturday morning in the first of a week of games in Kissimmee, Florida. Calumet got on the board first, sending across two runs in the 2nd inning. They added a home run in the top of the 4th inning to extend their lead to 4 runs.
In the bottom of the 6th, Dordt's Rachel Evavold singled to open the inning, as the first six batters of the inning reached base. The Defenders scored two on Emma Veenstra's single and two runners advanced to scoring position. Ella Koster then brought in two runs on a single to left field before Ivy Terpstra and Ella Koster scored on a fielding error, taking a 6-3 lead.

Hannah Sikkema went 2-4 and brought in 2 runs
Taylor Knaack struck out four batters in a complete game on the mound
