COACH BRIAN VAN HAAFTEN SAID
“It was fun today. Putting together a scouting report, being around the guys—if you fall in love with the process the game of basketball will fall in love with you, I think. I thought our guys were great today. We spent a couple hours in Sioux Falls at Lee Vande Kamp’s house, had a pregame meal, hung out for a little bit and got here and were really in good spirits. We passed the ball really well—they care about each other and with 23 assists that showed tonight. I thought Garrett Franken was fantastic with his passing tonight with eight assists to go with 18 points.”
Dordt will host Mount Marty on Saturday, January 9.
