COACH WOLF SAID

"The men's team relied on their depth for their top 15 team finish.  With a few athletes battling sickness, Joe Anderson and Nic Veldhorst raced to the strongest finishes of their careers.  These two finished 59 and 60, crossing the line less than two seconds apart.  Jacob Vander Plaats was three seconds behind the top two to complete a tight top three finish.  Eric Steiger and Thaniel Schroeder raced to the four and five spots for the team, rounding out our scoring-five.  The men were aggressive from the start and gutted out solid races in the muddy conditions. In one of the more competitive men's cross country national meets in recent memory, the guys did a good job managing adversity and finishing well as a team.  We are excited to have the top-six return next fall and continue to train together for another season."
