Viterbo def. Dordt 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-18, 27-25)


The Dordt Defender men’s volleyball team lost a 3-1 decision at Viterbo on Saturday night to finish their day 1-1. 

Viterbo had a 52-47 kills advantage and also hit for a .212 kill efficiency while Dordt had a .177 kill efficiency.

Dordt had 12 points on blocks while Viterbo had seven and Dordt had a 5-4 service ace eddge.

Caleb Kulesza had 20 kills and 17 digs while Andres Guzman had 14 kills and seven digs with four block assists.

Shavon Barker recorded five kills and had four block assists and two solo blocks.

Luke Nelson had three of Dordt’s ace serves and Levi Ewald had 16 digs.

Jeremy Van Belle had 20 assists and Boris Le 19.

Dordt is now 5-8 this season and will host Ottawa on March 12 in its next outing.


“We showed great effort though out the match but struggled to execute with quality touches that would enable us to produce points. This execution continues to be a focus point of our development as we strive to refine our rotations.”
