Dordt def. Dakota Wesleyan 5-2
The Dordt Defenders opened conference play with a win in the first game of their doubleheader with Dakota Wesleyan.
Nick Hamilton hit a solo home run in the second inning to give Dordt their first run of the game and help the Defenders take a 1-0 lead.
Following a no-hit inning for Dakota Wesleyan, the Defenders added to their lead in the top of the 3rd as John Emerson put the ball in play for an RBI to give Dordt a 2-0 advantage.
Dakota Wesleyan's half of the inning included an RBI single for DeMers that cut the Tigers' deficit in half.
Dordt answered in the top of the 4th as Cam Pfafman hit a one-out single to right that brought in Nick Hamilton. The scoring continued for the Defenders when Lucas Nelson scored during a stealing attempt to give Dordt a 4-1 lead.
The Tigers scored once more in the bottom of the 6th, but Dordt added an insurance run in the 7th with Aaron Eshelman's steal and score to secure a 5-2 win for the Defenders.

Gyeongju Kim pitched a complete game, throwing 12 strikeouts
