THE MEET

The Dordt Defender men’s golf team had a five stroke improvement from day one at the Great Plains Athletic Conference championship and are fifth at the midpoint of the four round event.  The two final rounds will be played in April 2021.

The Defenders shot a 310 to go with their 315 from Monday at Indian Creek and are 12 strokes behind Midland in fourth place. Morningside shot a 291 and has a two day total of 586 and is currently in front of Doane with a 607 in second place.

Freddy Bullock came in with a second round score of 74 and is tied with Blake Harmsen in 12th place with a 154.  Harmsen shot a 78 on day two along with Collin Kloostra.

Morningside’s Jonny Douglas shot a 67 and leads the field with a 139 and is three strokes in front for the individual title hunt.
