The Dordt women’s track and field team finished third at the GPAC Track and Field Championship held on April 30 and May 1 at Seward, Nebraska.

The Defenders totaled 137 points in the 11 team field and were led by Emma Bakker’s win in the 400 and Jessica Kampman claimed first in the steeplechase.  Cassie Brandsma was a winner in the high jump after clearing 5-7.75 and she met the provisional standard for NAIA qualification with the jump.  Anmarie Stuit also hit the provisional standard in the 400 meter hurdles where she finished third in 1:03.94.
