Dakota Wesleyan hosted a six-team men’s meet on Saturday, January 16 in Mitchell, South Dakota.
The Defenders won the 400 meters with Payton Mauldin running 49.8 and the 800 meters as Anthony Ghiorso clocked a 1:57.63. Franklin Reinders claimed the title in the mile run in 4:31.08 and Dordt’s 4x400 of Micah Brands, Mauldin, Luke Wagner and Cole Zevenbergen won the event in 3:23.89.

The Dordt team had several field event competitors miss their early events because of mechanical issues with the bus it used.
Dordt will host a meet in one week on Saturday, January 23. In accordance with GPAC rules there will be no fans allowed at the event at the Dordt Rec Center.
