In a competitive matchup, the Defender women earned their fourth win of the season. It was one of her four shot attempts in the game, and came alongside 7 first half shot attempts for the Defenders. Shots were evenly distributed in the first half, with 7 on both sides.

Midland held control of the ball for a majority of the second half, but Dordt's defense was able to maintain their early lead. With about 10 minutes remaining in regulation, the Warriors had a shot go off the crossbar, but were unable to even up the score, securing the victory for the Defenders.

"Those are three huge away points against a very talented Midland team. Our women fought hard for a solid 90 minutes. We didn't let up for one minute and that was the difference tonight."
