The Dordt Defenders sent athletes to the South Dakota State Indoor Track and Field Holiday Invite on Friday, December 6 and the meet concluded on Saturday, December 7 with limited events.

Matthew Van Eps hit the automatic qualifying standard for the NAIA National Championship in the spring with his 600 times of 1:20.54. Sarah Wensink met the provisional standard in the 3000 meters with time of 10:33.08.

This was the first competition of the 2019-20 season for the Defenders and Dordt will now be off until January 18 when the Defenders host a meet.
