Wabash defeats Dordt 6-2 (5 innings)
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dordt Defenders lost a 6-2 decision to Wabash on Tuesday in Tucson, Arizona. The game was shortened to five innings due to rain.
The Defenders got one run in the second inning when Andrew Pullar knocked a triple off the fence to knock in John Emerson.
Wabash answered with three in the second inning to make it 3-1.
The Defender got back to within 3-2 in the fourth inning with Pullar again knocking in Emerson with a single.
Wabash again had an answer and scored three in the bottom of the fourth inning for the final of 6-2. Dordt batted in the top of the fifth and went scoreless and the game was called due to rain.
Dordt was outhit Wabash 7-5.
Pullar and Logan Cline both had two hits and both had a triple.
John Emerson scored both runs and had a double.
Logan Horne took the loss and was charged with six runs on seven hits with three walks and three strikeouts.
