Jacob Vander Plaats led a very tight Dordt pack with a time of 25:51 on the 8,000 meter course and was 13th overall.  Eric Steiger finished 15th and marked the start of six Defenders who crossed the line in the following 12 seconds. Steiger had a time of 25:57 after missing Dordt’s previous race.

COACH NATE WOLF SAID

“The men's team raced well this week.  The top 8 men were less than 20 seconds apart and the top 10 were only 53 seconds apart.  It was fun to see how we stacked up against #3 University of Saint Mary.  We are in a great position as we head into the conference meet in two weeks and are looking forward to competing at home one last time this season.”
