Northwestern defeats Dordt 1-0

HOW IT HAPPENED

Northwestern scored a goal in the 43rd minute and that proved to be enough as the Dordt Defenders fell on the road in GPAC play by the 1-0 score.

The Defenders allowed the Jake Foscalina goal after the teams played nearly the entire first half without a score.

The goal came on Northwestern’s fifth shot on goal of the half.

Neither team was able to break through in the second half as opportunities were limited with the teams getting a combined nine shots off and both had two on frame.

Northwestern had a 7-3 shots on goal edge and an 18-10 overall shots advantage.

Seth Lewison had six saves in goal for Dordt.
