The Dordt men's soccer team dropped a conference decision 2-0 to Doane on Saturday. 

The Defenders survived an onslaught of Doane shots in the first half and kept things tied at zero. Dordt goalkeeper Seth Lewison had four saves in the first to help keep the clean sheet. 

The Tigers finally broke through in the 52nd minute with a goal by Josh Bundy. Both teams went scoreless over the next thirty minutes. The Tigers drew a penalty kick in the 82nd minute and Bundy found the back of the net for his second of the game.

The goal gave the Tigers the 2-0 home victory. 


Dordt was outshot 18-7 and 9-3 in shots on goal. 

Seth Lewison had seven saves in the loss. 

The loss dropped Dordt to 3-3-2 overall and 1-1-1 in GPAC play. 


Nishes Yadav had three saves in the win. 

Both Andreus Abner and Jesus Maganda had three shots in the win. 

The victory improved Doane to 2-5 overall and 1-0 in GPAC play. 


The Defenders will take a week off and face Concordia next Saturday in Sioux Center at 1 p.m.
