Concordia defeats Dordt 7-0
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dordt Defenders lost a 7-0 decision in game one of their doubleheader with Concordia on Saturday, April 27 in Seward, Nebraska.
Dordt allowed three in the first and then Concordia put the game out of reach with four in the sixth inning while limiting Dordt to two hits, a walk and a player reached with a walk. The Defenders were unable to get multiple runners on base in any of the seven frames.
Dordt was outhit 12-2.
Abby Smith and Jessica Oules each had singles for the Defenders and Brooklyn Van Oort was issued a walk.
Tianna Soodsma walked one and struck out seven while shouldering the loss.
