"Today we went the opposite direction from our goal. Other than Kyle and Tony, we had too many mistakes and penalties that hurt us late in the round. Kyle finished 7th in a strong field and he played the par 3’s very well today. I was pleased that we kept our 6th place position. We are hoping the storm this weekend doesn't derail our tournament in Sioux City next week," said head Dordt College golf coach Mark Christians.
The Defender men will travel next week to the Fremont Country Club in Fremont, Nebraska to take part in the one day meet hosted by Midland University on Monday, April 16th.
