Dordt Women's Golf competed in the one day Northwestern Invitational at Landsmere Golf Club in Orange City, Iowa. The Defenders finished the day in 5th place with a total score of 381 and were led by the sophomore Alyssa Fedders, native of Sioux Center, Iowa. Fedders finished the round in 4th after a team low 84 that placed her 7 strokes behind the course leader.

Meet Notes:
The hosts for the meet took home the best round of the day with a team score of 336. Northwestern also had two golfers finish in the top 3 with Shayla Murray topping all scorers with a 77. Murray the Junior from Northwestern is a transfer from Iowa Western Community College who also competed in the meet and finished 2nd with a 344. The average score for the day just eclipsed a 98.
