Arkansas defeats Dordt 4-2
HOW IT HAPPENED
Dordt dropped a 4-2 decision to the Arkansas Razorbacks on Friday night in Sioux Center. The Blades scored their first goal of the game with 9:24 left in the second period when Keaton De Jong tied the game off an assist by Jacob Petrie.
A little over two minutes later the Razorbacks knocked one in for a 2-1 lead and then added two unanswered goals in the first 12 minutes of the third period for a 4-1 advantage.
Dordt did get a goal with 7:42 left in the contest with Alex Lokhorst getting one through but that’s all Dordt could muster. Nico Kooistra had an assist for the Blades on the second goal.
Dordt was outshot 39-17
Bryce Andry had 35 saves in the loss.
