Recap

The Dordt women's golf team participated in day one of the GPAC Championships at Willow Run Golf Course in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Monday afternoon. The Defenders currently sit in sixth place with a team score of 375. Alyssa Fedders led the way with a round one total of 86. Fedders sits in 11th place while teammate Erin Olsen is tied for 20th after a round one total of 89. The Morningside Mustangs hold a 27 stroke lead over second place Mount Marty College. The Mustangs shot a low round of 320, while the Lancers posted a 347.

"Everyone got off to a slow start. Alyssa was strongest and able to post a 42 on her first nine holes. Erin posted a 50 on the front nine but was able to bounce back nicely with a 39 on the back nine. We can definitely improve all of our scores at a course that is set up for good scores," said head coach Mark Christians.

T35. Kristin Stoffels - 98
