Hastings defeats Dordt 3-0


HOW IT HAPPENED                        

Hastings College advanced past the Dordt Defender women’s soccer team on Tuesday night in GPAC Quarterfinal round play 3-0. 

The Broncos scored their first goal on a Megan Kruse score in the eighth minute and Kruse added another in the 26th minute off an assist by Heidi Bartsch.

Bartsch then put the game out of reach with a goal in the 63rd minute and the 3-0 score stood through the remaining 27 minutes.



Dordt had two shots on goal with Raquelle Mouw and Tori Mann both getting free for shots that Hastings’s Emma Toohey made saves of.

Dordt’s Dee Felts had 15 saves in goal.

Hastings had a 3-0 corner kick edge and fired 21 shots total in each half.

Dordt finishes the season with a 7-11-1 record.
