Dakota Wesleyan defeats Dordt 1-0
HOW IT HAPPENED
Dakota Wesleyan scored a goal in the 85th minute and made that score stand up the rest of the game in a 1-0 win over the Dordt Defenders. Alyssa Weidler broke the scoreless tie with an unassisted goal.
Dordt had two corner kicks after the goal in the closing minutes of the contest.
-Dordt outshot Wesleyan 7-6 on goal.
-Dee Felts had five saves in goal.
-Mikaela Patterson had four shots on goal for the Defenders while Raquelle Mouw and Jalissa De Haan had two and one shots on goal respectively.
-Dordt is 2-7 in the GPAC and 6-10-1 overall. Wesleyan improves to 2-6-1in the GPAC and 2-13-1 overall.
-Dordt will host Doane on Saturday in GPAC play to conclude the regular season.
