The Meet

The Dordt women's golf team competed in Omaha on Friday at the College of St. Mary's Shootout. The Defenders had three competitors on the day. Junior Kristin Stoffels competed in her first meet this spring, shooting an even 100. Freshmen Autumn Vos posted a score of 106, while classmate Kayla Glashower came in at 118. Once again, Dordt was short-handed due to illness.

Notes

- Kristin Stoffels was the top finisher for Dordt, posting a score of 100. She finished tied for 54th in the 80 competitor field. 

- Amy Ahlers of Concordia took home medalist honors, posting a low score of 74. 

- Concordia won the meet with a team score of 350. Finishing 62 over par as a group. Mount Marty came in second, just two strokes behind the leader with a final score of 352. 

 

Dordt is back in action for their third GPAC meet of the 2015-2016 season when they head to Lincoln, Nebraska on April 13th. The Defenders finished 12th in their last GPAC competition last October in Hastings, Nebraska.
