Briar Cliff Invite
The Dordt Men's Golf Team participated in day two of the Briar Cliff Invitational at Two Rivers Golf Club on Tuesday. The Defenders showed improvement from day one of the competition, improving their team score by 23 strokes and posting a team round of 312. Dordt finished the meet in eighth place, five strokes behind seventh place finisher, Midland. Northwestern posted both the low score of the day and meet with a final round of 284, making their two-day score 580.

- Jay Timmer was the top finisher for the Defenders posting a day two round of 73. Timmer improved his score by 11 strokes from the previous day. He finished tied for 23rd.
- Dordt's next three finishers tied for 34th place out of 78 competitors. Tony Kallevig, Will Mulder, and Kyle Colyn each posted a two day total of 159. Kallevig was the only golfer in the trio to score for the Dordt team.
- Justin Kraft of Northwestern was the medalist with a total score of 143.
Dordt plays cohost in the DorNor Cup on April 26th in Sioux Center and Orange City, Iowa. They look to gain momentum as they head into their final non-conference event in Fremont, Nebraska on April 30th before returning to Two Rivers on May 9th for the final GPAC meet of the 2015-2016 season.
