Recap

The Dordt College track and field teams traveled to Hastings, Nebraska to participate in the 2016 GPAC Championships. Junior Matthew Bolt was the highlight of the day, finishing in first place after five Decathlon events. Bolt won the Shot Put and 400M dash while placed third in the High Jump. He ended the day with 721 total points. Jake Krueger from Doan sits in second place with 706. 

Keith Heidema earned a spot in the 110M hurdle finals tomorrow with the second-fastest time of the day, running a 14.78. Ben Brockmueller finished fourth in the 10,000M run with a time of 34:02.76.

Dordt currently sits in 8th place in the team standings, with only five events scored.
