Dordt defeats Oglala Lakota 121-54
HOW IT HAPPENED
Dordt never trailed in defeated Oglala Lakota as part of the Sioux Center Classic on Friday, November 27. Dordt opened the game with a 7-0 run and had another 16-0 run to go from up 12-5 to up 28-5 and led 66-26 at halftime.
The lead steadily expanded throughout the second half with the 12-54 final.
-Dordt was 50-87 from the field and converted for 57.5 percent success.
-The Bravehearts were 19-65 from the field for 29.2 percent success.
-Dordt had a 62-24 rebounding advantage.
-Neither team substituted in the second half and Oglala Lakota had five players in uniform.
-JD Boer led Dordt with 21 points on 8-10 shooting and he had eight rebounds.
-Patrick Knoblauch scored 16 for Dordt and had 11 rebounds with four assists.
-Kyle Fopma and Ross Cooper scored 15 each and Cooper had ten rebounds.
-Danny Vos had 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Dordt.
-Tim Has No Horse was 7-30 shooting for 25 points and Dallas Tobacco scored 24 for the Bravehearts who are now 0-12.
-Dordt is 4-5 this season and will face Tabor on Saturday at 3:00.
-Oglala Lakota will face Northwestern at 1:00.

“This was a tough situation with Oglala Lakota only having five players in uniform. We wanted to respect them and still play hard. In the second half we kept the turnovers down, were unselfish and moved the ball well,” said Dordt College Ross Douma.
