The Dordt College Defender men’s cross country team finished sixth in the 2015 GPAC Championship on Saturday, November 7 at the meet hosted by Doane College in Crete, Nebraska.

-Nebraska Wesleyan won the competition with 45 points and Northwestern was the top NAIA finisher with 74 points and will qualify for the National Championships and Morningside was third in a tightly contested race with 79 points. Dordt 123 and was two points out of fourth place.
-Jordan Wheeler from Nebraska Wesleyan finished the 8,000 meter course in 25:23. Danny Aldaba was the top NAIA runner with 25:28 while competing for Midland.
-Wensink claims All-GPAC honors with his top-15 finish.
-99 runners competed from 11 teams.
COACH WOLF SAID
“The men's side ran incredibly tough today. Our men have battled very consistently throughout the year against Morningside, Northwestern and Concordia. The depth of the conference showed itself today with several teams running very strong,” said Dordt College coach Nate Wolf.
