-Dordt was outshot overall 16-8 and 13-1 on goal.
-Jack McCool made nine saves in goal for the Defenders and VJ Hachaba had one shot on goal.
-Dordt was playing without its second leading scorer as Alex Durbin was sitting out the game with an accumulation of yellow cards.

-Midland took eight shots in the first half and another eight in the second half. Ali Sodal now has 11 season goals and McFadden has 10.

-Goals have been difficult to come by for the Defenders as they have not scored in their last three contests.
-Dordt is now 4-6-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the GPAC and will play two games on the road next week starting with a game at Morningside on Tuesday, October 13. Midland stays perfect in the conference and is 4-0 in the league and 9-3 overall.
COACH STIEMSMA SAYS
“They made it very tough for us with two early goals,” said Dordt College coach Craig Stiemsma. “We let our heads drop. Our effort from start to finish was not consistent. We have to have better practices this coming week. A lot of guys had opportunities to step in and play so maybe that was a positive.”
