COACH ELGERSMA SAYS
"One of the highlights was watching the women get on the board early. We have been scoring late in the game and the pressure to finish doesn't lend itself to the kind of play we are after," said Dordt College coach Bill Elgersma.
"Movement through the midfield, continuing to develop our indirect rather than direct game, really showed itself in the game as well. We are starting to find chemistry with each other and that has been the lacking component this season."
Dordt will face Jamestown (North Dakota) on the road next Saturday, September 19 in the next outing for the Defenders.
