Dordt College was eliminated in its second game of the Great Plains Athletic Conference post-season tournament, an 8-2 loss at the hands of the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers.<p>Dordt took a 1-0 lead after Andrea Pierce singled in Sidney Larsen in the second inning. Dordt stranded two in the inning and also left two on in the first inning. <p>Dakota Wesleyan scored eight runs on six hits in the bottom of the second inning, chasing Dordt College starter Samantha Dunn in the process. <p>Larsen figured into a run in the third inning for Dordt when she doubled in Sidney Larsen. Dordt stranded two runners in the inning and later stranded two in the fifth before falling 8-2.<p>Dordt was outhit 9-7 with Dunn taking the loss and allowed seven runs on five hits. Sidney Larsen pitched five innings and allowed one run on four hits with four strikeouts.<p>Larsen and Michal Hoogland each had two hits. Andrea Pierce, Bethany Dykstra and Ashton Beaird all had one hit each.<p>Dakota Wesleyan's Jill Dickson pitched seven innings and got the win.<p>Dordt's season ends with a 16-28 record.
