<p>The Dordt College Defender track and field team concluded it's competition at the NAIA National Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Gulf Shores, Alabama on Saturday, May 24. Katie Bonnema capped her career with another NAIA All-American performance and Mycah Hulst finished in a tie for 11th in the high jump.
</p><p>Bonnema, a multi-time NAIA All-American, clocked a 2:10.79 in the 800 meters for sixth place in a tightly contested two-lap race. The fourth and fifth place runners in the event had times of 2:10.15 and 2:10.67 while the winner clocked a 2:08.17.
</p><p>Hulst, a sophomore from Byron Center, Michigan, cleared 5-4.25 in the high jump to open the event but was unable to advance past that height and ended up in a tie for 11th place. The winner in the event cleared 5-10.</p>
