Dordt College bounced back from a loss in game one to beat Dakota Wesleyan 7-0 in game two of the doubleheader in Mitchell, South Dakota.<p>Samantha Dunn recorded the shutout on the mound while giving up just three hits. <p>Dordt got two runs in the third inning with Bethany Dykstra clubbing a homerun with two outs for the first run and Erica White followed with a shot to make it 2-0. <p>Three runs on two hits came in the fourth inning with Dykstra proving two of the runs on a double. The teams then played scoreless ball until the seventh when they scored two runs on just one hit. The hit was a White single that scored Kassidy Van Voorst who was hit by a pitch to start the inning. <p>Dunn stayed out of trouble by issuing just one walk and struck out one and faced 27 batters, just six over the minimum.<p>Dordt will host the College of Saint Mary in non-conference softball on Friday in Sioux Center before concluding the conference season against Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday. <p>Dordt is now 6-12 in the league and 12-26 overall. Wesleyan improves to 8-8 and 17-13.
