Dordt College bounced back from a 3-0 deficit to win a 10-6 decision over Mount Marty on Wednesday, April 2 in Sioux Center. <p>Mount Marty scored three in the second inning with Dordt answering with three in the home half of the inning. Michal Hoogland homered to drive in two and Jayden Smolders had a single that tied the game. Dordt got two more in the third for a 5-3 lead. Bethany Dykstra knocked in a run in the fourth on a single and Erica White smashed a homerun for an 8-3 lead. White later knocked in two runs with a double in the sixth inning to seal the 10-6 win.<p>Dordt got two hits each from Dykstra, White, Beaird and Hoogland, accounting for eight of Dordt's 11 hits. White knocked in two runs with her double and homerun. Hoogland also had two runs batted in.<p>Sidney Larsen got the win while allowing four earned runs out of six total and struck out seven with two walks. Amber Krause took the loss for Mount Marty while giving up 11 hits and striking out two.
