Jamestown took a 2-0 lead after two innings and went on to beat Dordt College 6-1 on Thursday in Tucson, Arizona.<p>
Dordt's run came in the sixth when Kassidy Van Voorst doubled and scored on a Sidney Larsen single. <p>Dordt was outhit 7-6 but committed three errors that led to a pair of unearned runs. Larsen went six innings and allowed struck out one and walked four. Van Voorst had a single and a double and Larsen was 2-3 at the plate. Michal Hoogland registered a double for the Defenders.
