The Waldorf Warriors led from the start and won a 14-1 decision of the Dordt Defenders in game two of their doubleheader in Forest City, Iowa. <p>
Dordt got their run in the top of the second to tie the game when John Holwerda doubled and avaced to third on a ground out. Nathan Forseth knocked Holwerda in to tie the game at 1-1.<p>Waldorf broke the game open with ten runs on 12 hits in the second inning for what proved to be an insurmountable lead of 11-1. The hosts tacked on three more in the sixth inning for the 14-1 final.<p>Dordt was outhit 17-5 with Nathan Forseth getting a pair of singles and a run batted in. Holwerda and Sam De Nooy each had a double.<p>
Alex Terpstra went an inning and two-thirds and struck out one and walked one while allowing 11 hits and nine runs. Jake Thayer went an inning and two-thirds and gave up two runs on four hits and Alex Schoonhoven had three innings pitched with two hits, two walks and two strikeouts.<p>Dordt is 10-16 and will travel to Briar Cliff on Friday for GPAC play. Waldorf is 6-21.
