Dordt College lost a 4-3 game to Presentation on Wednesday, April 2 in game two of their doubleheader.<p>Presentation scored two each in the first and second innings on three hits and they took advantage of a Dordt error.<p>Dordt got one run in the fifth inning with Sam De Nooy and Alex Schoonhoven reaching on walks and De Nooy eventually scored on an error. <p>A Rick Schmidt double in the seventh inning started the frame and Jason Wapnick clubbed a homerun that got Dordt to within 4-3. Jake Thayer singled and Schoonhoven sacrificed him to second. Nathan Fraley reached on an error to advance Thayer to third. After a Fraley stolen base Cameron Gingerich lined out and Aaron Parks was walked to load the bases. A grounder to first base ended the game with the tying run at third base.<p>Dordt was outhit 6-5 with five different Defenders each getting a hit. Wapnick and Schmidt's homerun and double were the extra base hits for the Defenders.<p>Michael Grady took the loss with five innings pitched, four runs allowed and two earned runs given up with two walks and one strikeout. Nathan Forseth and Josh Peterson each pitched a scoreless inning and each allowed one hit.<p>Dordt is now 8-12 overall and resumes GPAC play on Friday against Nebraska Wesleyan. Presentation is now 7-26.
