The Dordt College Defenders ran their winning streak to three this weekend with a convincing win over Mayville State (North Dakota) at the Bellevue Bruin Labor Day Classic in Bellevue, Nebraska. The Defenders rolled to its second sweep decision of the day by rolling over the Comets 25-15, 25-11, 25-23.<p>Dordt dominated net play with a .302 kill efficiency and scored another seven points on blocks at the net. <p>Meghan Krausman accounted for 11 kills while Brooke Wolterstorff had ten kills and ten digs. Kayla Gesink put up 34 assists and Kayla Broekhuis got to 33 digs. Dordt piled up 49 kills in the match and 77 digs.<p>Dordt is now 6-2 overall and went 3-1 this weekend. The Defenders will host Grand View (Iowa) and York (Nebraska) on Saturday, September 7 in non-conference play in their next action.
