Dordt had no problem with Peru State in a 25-12, 25-16 and 25-21 win to close the Hastings Classic. <p>Dordt had 42 kills and 44 digs on a day when they hit .279 in the match with Lindsey Floen leading the way with 14 kills and a .355 kill efficiency. Danae Geels added nine kills without an error and Loy Sahr had six kills. <p>Kayla Gesink put up 30 assists and Kayla Broekhuis had 17 digs with two ace serves. Jocelyn Bousema and Jana Van Zanten had two ace serves as well.<p>"This was a complete day for us as we swept our second opponent. It's important to learn in the areas where we can grow as volleyball athletes and as a team. Its a lot more enjoyable to learn through a win," said Dordt College coach Chad Hanson. "I am pleased with the performance of today and excited to further our conference play this week as well as get our home opener on Friday."

Dordt is now 10-3 and will face Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday night in Mitchell, South Dakota.
