Dordt College improved to 2-0 on their first day of the season played at the Northwestern Classic in Orange City, Iowa with a 3-0 win over Dickinson State (North Dakota).<p>
Dordt handily won the match in a little over an hour with 25-18, 25-19, 25-11 set scores. <p>Lindsey Floen had nine kills and Katelyn Schuller seven to lead the Defender attack. Floen also put down two solo and three assisted blocks. Kayla Gesink lofted 25 assists and had three service aces and had four kills. Kayla Broekhuis led the team with 18 digs and Jocelyn Bousema added six. <p>Loy Sahr and Jenna Horstman helped the balanced Dordt attack with six and five kills respectively.<p>Dordt will face Grace (Indiana) and Jamestown (North Dakota) on Saturday at 9:00 and 3:00 respectively in Orange City.<p>A full boxscore will be posted when available.
