Dordt College got goals from five different players in securing their fifth conference win of the season, a 5-0 win over the Briar Cliff Chargers in Sioux City, Iowa on Tuesday afternoon.
Dordt scored its first goal in the 31st minute when Jon Brinkerhoff found the goal for the ninth time this season. Brady Van Holland followed suit in the 44th minute when he scored off an assist by Mason Davis for his sixth goal of the season and Dordt took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
David Miedema struck quickly in the first minute of the second half off assists from Van Holland and Scott Van Wylen. David Riley was the fourth Defender to score, getting a goal on a penalty kick in the 76th minute and Jeff McClelland ended the scoring in the final minute--his second of the season.
Dordt outshot the hosts 12-6 overall and 10-4 on goal. Jon Brinkerhoff recorded the shutout with four saves.
Dordt improves to 5-2 in the GPAC and 9-6 overall while Briar Cliff slides to 0-6-1 in the league and 1-12-2 overall. Dordt will host Doane on Saturday.
