The Defenders lost a 7-0 decision to Indiana Wesleyan in game two of their doubleheader in Arizona on Saturday, March 12. <p>The Defenders gave up five runs on three hits in the first inning and were fighting from behind the rest of the game. Dordt's best threat came in the fifth inning when Jon Holwerda and Eric Torgerson each singled to lead off the inning but a pair of strikeouts and a fly out ended the inning.<p>Dordt was outhit 10-6 with Aaron Parks taking the loss on the mound while giving up five runs on six hits with four walks and two strikeouts. John Drenten went the final two innings and was charged with two runs. <p>Holwerda had two singles in the loss. All 16 hits by the two teams were singles.
