Dordt College shot a 319 on Thursday, September 22 at the Lochland Golf Course in Hastings, Nebraska to finish tenth at the Hastings Fall Invite. Seventeen teams participated in the event at the course that will host GPAC Qualifier #2 on October 8.
Dordt's Ryan Kamp and Brandon McCracken each shot low for the Defenders with a pair of 78s. The two were part of a tie for 28th in the field that included 87 golfers. Madison Moss carded an 81 and Kevin Fopma an 82 to complete the Dordt scoring.
Northwestern won the event with a 289 and Southeast Community College was second with a 292. Caleb Harms of Southeast Community College was the medalist with a 67 on the par-72 course that was set up for 7,006 yards in length.
Dordt now has a full week off before taking part in the two-day Dakota Wesleyan Invite on September 30 and October 1.
