Nebraska Wesleyan made it a sweep of Dordt College in baseball action at Open Space Park in Sioux Center on Friday with a 13-6 win in game two of the doubleheader.<p>Dordt got six in the first inning when they banged out six hits. Eric Anderson had a single that scored a run and Travis Dekkers scored on a wild pitch. Jon Holwerda plated two with a single and Alex Bluhm knocked in a run with a single. <p>A three run homerun by JJ Thaut cut the difference in half and the Prairie Wolves took advantage of four walks and two wild pitches early in the third to mount a rally and score four runs on two hits. <p>Ryan Baas, on in relief for Dordt, kept the Defenders within 7-6 with scoreless fourth and fifth innings but a six run eruption in the sixth on five hits and an error but the game out of reach.<p>Dordt was outhit 12-10 with Nick Serrato, Eric Anderson, Jon Holwerda and Alex Bluhm all getting two hits and Holwerda knocked in two. Aaron Parks took the loss for Dordt after allowing seven runs on three hits with three strikeouts in two innings. Baas was charged with seven hits and six runs and Josh Van Kekerix worked the final inning and two-thirds and allowed two hits with a walk and strikeout.<p>Nebraska Wesleyan's Justin Van Dyke got the win after allowing six runs on eight hits and he struck out seven.<p>Dordt is 1-9 in league play and 10-22 overall. Wesleyan improves to 7-3 in the GPAC and 11-15 overall.<p>Dordt will face Concordia at 11:00 AM on Saturday in doubleheader action in Sioux Center.
