Before Dordt… played for Siouxland Christian High School (Iowa)…was a 2016 third team all-state honoree for the Eagles…was a three-time first team all-conference honoree, selected unanimously for the award during both her junior and senior seasons.

2 Emma Bousema 5-5 Defensive Specialist FR Sheldon, Iowa

Before Dordt…graduated from Western Christian High School (Iowa)…had 275 digs in 2018 with 49 ace serves…had 39 ace serves in 2017 with 365 digs in helping Western to a state title in 2018 and a runner-up finish in 2017…earned second-team all-Lakes Conference honors in both seasons and was named an academic all-conference honoree.

3 Megan Raszler 5-7 Setter FR Elkhorn, Nebraska

Before Dordt… graduated from Elkhorn High School (Nebraska)…started for three seasons on the Elkhorn varsity and served as a captain for two seasons…had 2,319 career assists for an 8.6 assists per set average and 590 career digs with 96 ace serves…recorded 9.6 assists per set with 208 total digs, 34 ace serves and 49 kills with a .268 kill efficiency in 2018…was a part of a team that finished fifth at the Nebraska High School State Tournament…was a two-time all-conference pick in 2017 and 2018 and took honorable mention all-conference honors in 2016…claimed academic all-conference accolades during her career and was one of 48 recipients in Nebraska of the Believers and Achievers award presented by U.S. Bank and the NSAA.

9 Avery Van Kley 5-5 Defensive Specialist SO Sioux Center, Iowa

2018…played in 22 junior varsity matches…had 18 service aces and recorded an average of 2.87 digs per set.

Before Dordt…. graduated from Western Christian (Iowa) where she was a defensive specialist that averaged 2.21 digs per set…she had a .922 serving efficiency with 25 service aces during the 2017 season…earned all-conference honorable mention in 2017 and was part of two state championship teams in 2015 and 2016 and a runner-up finish in 2017.

2018…played in 32 matches…averaged 1.62 digs per set with 18 ace serves…had a season high 13 digs against Viterbo on October 2.

2017…played in 38 matches…averaged 1.71 digs per set with 20 service aces.

Before Dordt…attended Western Christian High School (Iowa)…was a first-team all-Lakes Conference honoree in 2016…averaged 3.3 digs per set and had a 91 percent success rate from the service area…recorded 53 service aces…served for a 96 percent success rate in 2015 and had 36 aces…had a .38 dig average as a junior.

11 Corrina Timmermans 5-11 Outside Hitter FR Orange City, Iowa

Before Dordt… graduated from Unity Christian High School (Iowa)…had over 1,100 career kills for the Knights and averaged just over four kills per set in 2018…averaged 2.92 digs per set with 23 service aces…four-year starter who helped Unity to four straight conference titles and state tournament berths in all four of her seasons…earned first-team all-state honors in 2017 and 2018  and second-team accolades in 2016…was a first-team all-conference selection in both of those seasons...earned first-team all-area honors from the Sioux City Journal and Northwest Iowa Review and was a first-team all-state selection by the Des Moines Register.

12 Jori Bronner 5-10 Outside Hitter, Opposite Hitter FR Sioux Center, Iowa

Before Dordt…graduated from Unity Christian High School (Iowa)…had 364 kills as a senior while averaging 3.43 kills per set with 294 digs for a 2.77 digs per set average…also had 45 ace serves and 69 blocks…was a first-team all-state pick in 2018 while also claiming all-district and all-conference honors in 2017 and 2018…earned all-tournament accolades at the Iowa High School State Volleyball Tournament where Unity finished runner-up in Class 2A.

13 Lydia Smits 6-1 Outside Hitter JR Crete, Illinois

2018…played in 21 matches and averaged 1.3 kills per set…had a season high 10 kills against Northwestern on October 23…played in seven junior varsity matches with a 2.53 kills per set average and a .291 kill efficiency.

Before Dordt…. graduated from Heritage Christian High School (Illinois)…competed for Trinity Christian College (Illinois) in 2017…averaged 2.34 kills per set for a total of 304 kills on the season during her freshmen year at Trinity Christian…totaled 41 blocks and 20 aces…was a two time state champion for volleyball and once for basketball at Heritage Christian…was awarded conference MVP her junior and senior year of high school volleyball.

14 Ally Krommendyk 6-2 Middle Blocker SR Hamburg, Minnesota

2018…played in 28 matches…averaged 2.27 kills per set with  a .313 kill efficiency…let the team with a 1.36 blocks per set average…had a season high 17 kills against Hastings on September 28…had 11 assisted blocks and one solo block against the College of Saint Mary on October 6…named all-GPAC honorable mention.

2017…earned all-GPAC honorable mention honors…played in 38 matches and averaged 1.97 kills per set and had a team high 1.1 blocks per outing…had a season high 13 kills against Doane on October 14…recorded nine blocks twice against Missouri Baptist on November 30 and Westmont on August 17.

2016…played in six varsity matches…played in five junior varsity matches with a 2.42 kills per set average and had a .370 kill efficiency…averaged 1.58 blocks per set.

Before Dordt…went to Southwest Christian High School (Minnesota)…recorded 327 kills on 635 attempts, 34 digs, and 100 blocks…earned first-team all-conference honors as a junior and senior while earning all-state honors in 2015…was the starting middle hitter as a sophomore for the Stars 2013 State Championship team.

15 Jessi De Jager 6-1 Middle Blocker SO Hull, Iowa

2018…played in 34 matches…averaged 1.72 kills per set with a kill efficiency of .206…averaged just under a block per set…had a season high 12 kills twice against Northwestern on October 23 and The Master’s on November 29.

Before Dordt…graduated from Western Christian (Iowa)…averaged 2.79 kills and .63 blocks per set with a kill efficiency of .306 during her senior season…helped the Wolfpack to a 37-9 record here senior year in 2017 and was part of 2A State Championship teams in both 2015 and 2016…was named first-team all-conference and was a member of the Iowa High School State Tournament Class 2A All-Tournament team.

16 Karsyn Winterfeld 5-9 Outside Hitter JR Sioux Center, Iowa

Before Dordt…. graduated from Western Christian (Iowa) and played for and attended Northwestern College (Iowa) in 2017…will have three seasons of volleyball eligibility remaining after sitting out the 2018 volleyball season per Great Plains Athletic Conference transfer rules…averaged 3.4 kills per set to help Western Christian (Iowa) to a 2016 Class 2A state title…got to 3.01 digs per contest and had a team high 101 ace serves…was a first-team all-state selection at the conclusion of the season…totaled 87 ace serves and 2.61 digs per set…earned all-GPAC honorable mention honors at the conclusion of the season.

17 Allison Timmermans 6-1 Opposite Hitter, Setter JR Orange City, Iowa

Before Dordt… graduated from Unity Christian High School (Iowa) and transferred from Wayne State College (Nebraska) after two seasons…graduated from Unity in 2017 after earning first-team all-state honors for the 2016 season and she was a third-team all-state pick in 2015…claimed first-team all-conference honors from 2014-16 and was an all-district selection in both 2015 and 2016…was the 2016 Sioux City Journal Volleyball Player of the Year…competed for the Wayne State Wildcats in 2017 and 2018 and played in 18 matches as a rightside hitter and averaged right at one kill per set.

18 Emily Feilmeier 5-4 Defensive Specialist SR Hartington, Nebraska

2018…played in 33 matches…averaged just under a dig per set…had a career high 19 digs against Rocky Mountain on August 31.

2017…played in 19 junior varsity matches…averaged 2.47 digs per outing and had 19 service aces…put up an average of 3.58 assists per contest.

2016…played in 16 junior varsity matches…averaged 3.33 assists per set and had 10 ace serves…got to 1.25 digs per outing.

Before Dordt…played for Cedar Catholic High School (Nebraska)…racked up 1697 set assists, 742 digs, 298 kills, 105 services aces and 93 blocks in 2015…earned Class C All-Area Elite 8 First-Team honors along with All-State Honorable mention honors after leading her team to a MidState Conference Championship and district runner-up finish in 2015…was named to the all-conference first-team, and voted team mvp.

19 Ava Van Soelen 6-0 Outside Hitter SO Waukee, Iowa

2018…played in 15 matches…averaged just under a kill per set…had a season high five kills against Eastern Oregon on November 30…played in 12 junior varsity matches…averaged 1.54 kills per set.

Before Dordt… played for Des Moines Christian (Iowa)…totaled 244 kills her senior year and averaged 3.34 kills per set while totaling 21 ace serves...tallied 33 total blocks with an average of .45 blocks per set…earned unanimous all-conference honors in 2016 and 2017 and was named all-region those two years as well…earned Iowa All-State Honorable Mention in 2017 and helped her team to a 22-9 record while claiming a conference championship.

24 Brenna Krommendyk 5-11 Middle Blocker FR Hamburg, Minnesota

Before Dordt… attended Southwest Christian High School (Minnesota)…had 623 career kills and 230 blocks while averaging 2.93 kills per set with a .358 kill efficiency in 2018…was a first-team all-conference pick in 2017 and 2018 and was a Minnesota Academic All-State pick in 2018…leaves Southwest Christian fourth all-time in career kills and blocks.

25 Haley Delperdang 6-1 Middle Blocker, Opposite Hitter JR Remsen, Iowa

2018…played in eight varsity matches and 21 junior varsity matches…averaged 1.46 kills per set for the Dordt junior varsity.

2017…played in 26 matches and averaged just under a kill per set…had a season high seven kills against Mount Marty on September 19.

Before Dordt… played at Remsen-St. Mary’s High School (Iowa)…finished her senior season with 223 kills, a .290 kill efficiency, and 2.79 kills per set…had 26 aces, with a .908 serve efficiency, along with 40 block assists and 29 solo blocks…finished her career with 612 kills, 242 blocks, and 90 service aces…earned a first-team all-conference nod in 2016 and CYO all-tournament teams honors during her final two seasons.
