2014…season was cut short due to injury…played in nine junior varsity matches and 25 sets before being sidelined…had a 2.08 digs per set average.

Before Dordt… defensive specialist for Western Christian (Iowa) from 2011-2013…helped the Wolfpack to three state tournament berths in a row…had 30 service aces in 2012 and 46 aces with a 1.71 digs per set average in 2013.

Before Dordt…claimed first team all-Metro and all-MAC honors while playing for Pleasant Valley (Iowa)…averaged 3.66 digs per set and was a member of the MAC all-Academic Team.

Before Dordt… played outside hitter and libero for Trinity Christian (Iowa)…averaged 2.5 digs and 2.4 kills per set in 2013 with a .241 kill efficiency…averaged 2.0 digs and 2.0 kills per set as a junior and was a regular as a sophomore when she averaged 1.8 digs and 1.8 kills per outing…claimed first-team all-War Eagle Conference honors as a senior and was a second-team all-Northwest Iowa Review pick in 2013.

Before Dordt…averaged 6.09 assists per set for Shenandoah (Iowa) in 2014…earned all-conference honors during her career and was a three-year captain for her high school team.

Before Dordt…earned first team all-state honors for the fourth straight year in 2014 and helped Western to its fourth straight state runner-up finish…averaged 9.5 assists per set in 2014 and 10.1 in 2013…had 62 ace serves in 2014 and 60 in 2013…earned all-tournament accolades four straight years at the Iowa High School State Tournament….Western was 181-13 in the four seasons Gesink set.

11 Julia Lindbergh 6-1 Outside Hitter FR Margate, Florida

Before Dordt…played for Coral Springs Christian Academy (Florida)…was a first team all-county pick as a senior after claiming second team honors in 2013…averaged 15.5 kills, 7.1 digs, 2.2 blocks and 1.3 ace serves while claiming Region IV Player of the Year honors in 2014…served as her team captain for two seasons.

Before Dordt…earned 2014 first team all-state honors while playing for Western Christian and helping the Wolfpack to a Class 2A state runner-up finish…averaged 3.34 kills per set with a .415 kill efficiency… had 46 ace serves and averaged 1.7 digs per set…totaled 298 kills as a junior with a .419 kill efficiency and earned second team all-state honors…was a first team all-conference and all-district pick as a junior…had 215 kills as a sophomore.

13 Jenna Horstman 6-0 Outside Hitter SR Pella, Iowa

2014…averaged 2.41 kills per set in 29 matches played…earned all-GPAC  second team honors for the second season in a row…had a career high 21 kills against Briar cliff on November 8 .

2013…played in all 34 matches for the Defenders…played in 126 sets and averaged 2.87 kills with a .280 kill efficiency…earned all-GPAC second team accolades…had a season high 18 kills against Morningside on October 16.

2012…averaged 1.55 kills per set…played in 27 matches and 74 sets in her freshman campaign.

Before Dordt… graduated Pella Christian (Iowa)…was a three-time all-conference selection and earned 2011 second-team all-state honors in Class 2A …recorded 3.34 kills per set at outside hitter with a .407 kill efficiency and she recorded 62 ace serves and was in on 41 blocks…earned all-district honors in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and took special mention honors on the all-state level in 2010 and honorable mention accolades in 2009…helped Pella Christian to the state tournament in 2009 and 2010…was picked to play in the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Senior All-Star volleyball match on Saturday, November 19.

14 Haley Wilting 6-1 Middle Blocker FR Meadowbank, Prince Edward Island

Before Dordt…named a Provincial League first-team all-star and was a Provincial Tournament MVP at Bluefield High School (Prince Edward Island)…had a .304 kill efficiency with 3.04 blocks per outing…was named Bluefield’s female athlete of the year and Prince Edward Island’s Volleyball Player of the Year.

15 Brooke Granstra 5-11 Outside Hitter JR Sioux Center, Iowa

2014…earned first-team all-GPAC honors after averaging a team high 3.0 kills per set and also got to 2.7 digs per contest…had a .275 kill efficiency and also earned honorable mention All-American honors from the NAIA…had a season high 20 kills against Morningside on September 17…got to 23 digs against Briar Cliff on September 13…was in on a season high six blocks against The Master’s, August 22, and had three service aces in matches with Viterbo and Morningside on August 29 and October 15 respectively.

2013…averaged 3.11 kills per set with a .290 kill efficiency in 34 matches and 126 sets played…got to 2.44 digs per set and was in on 0.63 blocks per set…was named the Freshman of the Year in the GPAC and in the NAIA by the AVCA…was a first-team all-GPAC member and claimed AVCA all-region honors…was a Tachikara-NAIA honorable mention all-American and earned the same honor from the AVCA…put down a season high 22 kills against Wayland Baptist at the NAIA National Championship on December 6…was in on a season high eight blocks against Buena Vista on October 3.

Before Dordt…helped Western Christian (Iowa) to a state runner-up finish in Class 2A and was named to the 2012 all-tournament team…earned Elite All-State honors and Class 2A Co-Player of the Year honors…totaled 1,402 kills and had 142 ace serves with 792 digs and 338 blocks…claimed Elite All-State honors in 2011 and was a first-team all-state selection in 2010 and 2011…helped Western to a state championship in 2010 along with a runner-up finish in 2011 and claimed all-tournament honors both times.

16 Hope Kramer 5-9 Outside Hitter JR Sioux Center, Iowa

2014…led the junior varsity team with a 4.25 kills per set average in 22 matches and 53 sets…had a .239 kill efficiency and got to 4.4 digs per outing.

2013…averaged 2.04 kills per set with 1.04 digs in 45 sets and 20 matches played for the Dordt junior varsity.

Before Dordt…earned second-team all-conference honors in 2011 and 2012 while playing for Unity Christian (Iowa)…had a .322 kill efficiency in 2012 and averaged 2.8 digs per set…claimed 2012 Academic All-State honors. 

17 Becci Madden 5-7 Defensive Specialist JR Omaha, Nebraska

2014…played in 29 matches and 116 sets…had 21 service aces…recorded a season high four service aces against Baker on August 30…got to 14 digs against Grand View on September 9.

2013…averaged 3.0 digs and had nine service aces in 19 junior varsity matches…played in six varsity matches.

Before Dordt…graduated Elkhorn South High School (Nebraska) where she helped win a pair of conference titles and two state tournament berths…averaged 2.8 digs per set  and had a 92.5 percent serve efficiency…served as a team captain in 2012… played six years of volleyball for the River City Juniors Volleyball Club...claimed academic all-conference and academic all-state honors in 2012.

18 Meghan Krausman 5-10 Outside Hitter SR Grundy Center, Iowa

2014…averaged 3.32 digs per set in 26 matches played…was an all-GPAC honorable mention honoree at the conclusion of the season…had a season high 26 digs against Viterbo on August 29…had four matches of 20 or more digs…recorded four service aces against Briar Cliff on September 13.

2013…averaged 1.89 kills per set while earning all-GPAC honorable mention honors and averaged 1.33 digs per set.

2012…averaged 1.73 kills per set in 25 matches played…also saw time on the junior varsity where she averaged 2.65 kills per set in nine matches played.

Before Dordt…played for Grundy Center  (Iowa)… averaged 3.3 kills per set for Grundy Center as they advanced to the Iowa High School State Tournament semifinal round…had a kill efficiency of .428 in 2011 and was in on 48 blocks and 335 kills over the course of the season…earned all-district honors in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and was a first-team all-conference pick during all four of her seasons…earned conference mvp honors in 2011…claimed second-team all-state honors in 2011.

19 Summer Jansen 5-10 Defensive Specialist SO Sheldon, Iowa

2014…played in 101 sets and had a 2.57 digs per set average…recorded 20 service aces in 26 matches played…had a season high 26 digs against Doane on October 3 and had 20 digs against Dakota Wesleyan on October 7…was credited with three service aces against Morningside on September 17.

Before Dordt…totaled 395 digs and 243 kills in 2013 as Western Christian (Iowa) finished as the runner-up at the Class 2A Iowa State Tournament…had 29 ace serves and was in on 36 blocks while earning second-team all-Lakes Conference honors and third-team honors from the Northwest Iowa Review.

20 Elizabeth Kiel 6-0 Middle Blocker JR Orange City, Iowa

2014…played in all 116 sets and had a 1.87 kills per set average…recorded a .243 kill efficiency and earned honorable mention all-GPAC honors…recorded a season high 12 kills twice against Jamestown and Briar Cliff on September 6 and October 22.

2013…averaged 1.57 kills per set in 34 matches played…had a .274 kill efficiency and averaged 0.71 blocks per set in 125 sets played...had a season high eight blocks against John Brown on August 30.

Before Dordt…averaged 3.2 kills per set with a .330 kill efficiency for Unity Christian (Iowa) and had nearly a block per outing for the Knights in 2011 and 2012…claimed first-team all-state honors in 2012 from both the IGCA and the Des Moines Register…was a two-time all-conference selection and earned all-area honors from the Northwest Iowa Review twice along with all-district honors. 

21 Lauren Jungling 5-9 Setter SO Pella, Iowa

2014…saw action in 53 sets and 22 matches for the Defender junior varsity program…had 11 service aces and averaged just under a kill and a digs per set.

Before Dordt...three-year starter at Pella Christian (Iowa)…put up 1,410 assists during her career and averaged nearly five assists per set as part of a 6-2 offense in 2013…totaled 102 kills and had 55 ace serves…was a first-team Little Hawkeye Conference selection in 2012 and 2013 and served as Pella Christian’s team captain in 2013.

22 Haley Moss 6-6 Opposite Hitter SO Sioux Center, Iowa

2014…had a 1.87 kills per set average with a .252 kill efficiency while earning all-GPAC second team honors …was also named the GPAC Freshman of the Year and had team high 19 solo blocks and she had 91 assisted blocks…had a season high 19 kills against MidAmerica Nazarene on September 5..recorded nine solo blocks and four assisted blocks against Concordia on October 25.

Before Dordt…was a part of three state tournament runner-up teams for Western Christian (Iowa) and one state champion squad…earned first-team all-state and all-district honors in 2013 after averaging 2.55 kills per set  with a .414 kill efficiency…recorded .89 blocks per set as a senior and had 281 total kills… recorded 277 kills in 2012 and 222 as a sophomore….was in on 95 blocks in 2012…earned first-team all-conference honors in 2012 after claiming second-team honors in 2011.

Before Dordt… graduated ITESM Campus Central de Veracruz…had the best reception stats in Veracruz U.19 volleyball and was selected 2013 Best State Libero U.19…competed for several teams that finished well in CONADEIP play…CONADEIP is the Comisión Nacional Deportiva Estudiantil de Instituciones Privadas which is the governing body for interscholastic play in Mexico.

Before Dordt…put down 1.1 kills per set for Chicago Christian High School (Illinois) and had a .287 kill efficiency…averaged 1.0 blocks per set while helping Chicago Christian to a conference and regional championships.

25 Jessica Timmermans 5-10 Outside Hitter FR Orange City, Iowa

Before Dordt…averaged 2.7 kills per set in 2014 and helped Unity Christian (Iowa) to a berth in the semifinal round of the Iowa High School State Tournament…earned first team all-conference honors in 2013 and 2014 and was a 2014 Class 2A All-District honoree.

Before Dordt…earned all-conference honors twice while playing for Deubrook Area High School (South Dakota)…helped her team to a conference title and regional final berths twice.

27 Kendra Pohlman 5-8 Outside Hitter FR Little Falls, Minnesota

Before Dordt…competed for Little Falls Community School (Minnesota)…was named all-conference, all-section, all-area Morrison County, all-area by the Brainerd Dispatch and was an honorable mention pick by the St. Cloud Times…had 458 kills, 442 assists, 57 blocks, 421 digs and 85 ace serves in her last two years of volleyball at Little Falls.

Before Dordt…claimed all-conference honors the past two seasons while competing for Mountain View High School (Colorado)…had a .337 kill efficiency with 89 blocks in 2014 and earned all-area honors…was a part of a state qualifying team in 2012 and a regional qualifying team in 2013 and 2014.

Before Dordt…claimed all-Foothill League honors playing for Saugus High School (California)…was a three-year starter and was her teams captain and claimed scholar-athlete honors.

Before Dordt…was a two-time first team all-conference pick for Central Wisconsin Christian High School…was named to the Fon du Lac Reporter first team…all-time leader in kills with 836…had 64 blocks and 193 digs as a senior and had a kill efficiency of .456.
