Dordt is Schollenbruch’s first stop in the collegiate coaching ranks. Prior to her time in Sioux Center, she spent time as a volleyball and basketball camp instructor at Greenville College (Illinois) and volleyball camp instructor at Principia College for four years. She was also the head coach of the Panther Volleyball Academy 14U team in Greenville and worked with the Illini United Mini’s volleyball league. Schollenbruch was named the GPAC Women's Volleyball Assistant Coach of the Year after the 2017 season. She was accorded the June Strahl Award in May 2016.
Prior to her time at Dordt Schollenbruch was a four year contributor to the Greenville College (Illinois) volleyball and basketball programs. Schollenbruch was a three-year, first-team, all-conference honoree on the volleyball court after earning honorable mention honors her freshman season. She was selected as the 2014 and 2015 SLIAC Defensive player of the year and finished her career at Greenville as the career digs leader with 2,251. During her four years, Greenville won four SLIAC regular season conference champions and was a 2015 NCAA DIII National Tournament participant. Schollenbruch earned conference tournament team honors for three straight seasons, capped with a SLIAC tournament MVP honor during her senior campaign.
Schollenbruch was a four-year letter winner on the basketball court. During her senior season, Greenville was a national tournament participant. During the fall of 2016, Schollenbruch used her final season of eligibility to compete for the Greenville soccer program. She was honored as Greenville’s 2016 Jane Strahl Award winner.
